Walkers Cottage Camping Reviews

Just returned from ten nights at Walkers Cottage Camping and we really enjoyed our stay. The scenery is beautiful, of which there is a great view as the campsite is located on a hill. The campsite was very clean as were the toilets and shower and wash facilities. It has a compost toilet (which is a great idea) as well as flush toilets....

Amazing location, really peaceful. The views are incredible. Very basic site which is what we like. We were there on our own for the first three nights but there is plenty of room regardless, unmarked pitches. Shower (one on site for 24 hour use and one in gallery which is open during the day), very clean, good water flow...

I camped with my parents as a child and have been camping for 25 years as an adult and think that this is one of the nicest places I have stayed....

Amazing place. Set amongst meadow and spectacular views. Quiet eco site, shower, flush loo, compost loo, campers kitchen/games colouring for kids. Kettle, microwave sink to wash-up in barn. Artist gallery and tea gardens....

The owner was very friendly and accommodated us last minute very late at night. He even leant us his lamp for the night so we could set up our tents. Hot shower, flushing toilet available and very nice views in the morning. 100% recommended...

A really quiet well-kept campsite with good facilities including a dry room with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing-up facilities. Free-range hens wandering around and eggs on sale....
